Blood and Roses originally recorded a version of Escape from New York during the sessions for the "Enough is Never Enough" LP. Essentially, it was an exercise for me to learn about synthesisers and drum machines before laying down the title track. It turned up on the b-side of the 12 inch of "Some Like it Hot." It's okay but we added the sequencer line after recording the main riff. So, I cannot help notice that the emphasis is slightly off. Can you imagine forty years of being pissed off about that? If so, welcome to the wonderful world of autism. I think this version corrects that.
