Behind me the sun is dying. Casting crimson fingers skyward, the last desperate act of a drowning man. If I could cast a line and save that soul, would I? I would not. Man, I’ve seen how that story ends and that’s one alley I’m not walking down.

Before me, the night rises out of the blackened sea. A juggernaut stealing the day by inch after inch. Shambling towards Bethlehem, that terrible maw. A cold inevitable singularity thieving hope from all who enter here. And like some animal caught in the spot light, I’ve got nowhere left to run. You see, I’ve seen this movie too and I know just where it’s heading

Now I know what some of you are gonna say. Man. He’s really lost the plot this time. Garbling unconnected phrases. And maybe you’re right. It ain’t like I’m some God eyed messiah coming at you with all the answers. The one thing I know is this. When it comes to this thing, you’re better in than out.
