This is the darker sibling of the Et Mourir de Plaisir album. When recording began, the idea was to create a new "Blood and Roses" album. I had recorded backing tracks, I sent them to Lisa Kirby so she could do some vocal tracks. Sadly, she passed before that could happen. The album "Et Mourir de Plaisir" is largely a reaction to that. This album is fairly close to the original track listing proposed". "Et Mourir de Plaisir" is the original french title of the film "Blood and Roses". The film was released in Germany under a title that crudely translates as "To Lust... To Die"
